It is defined as the failure to achieve a pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse. Infertility affects millions of people \u2013 and has a huge impact on their families and communities. Several estimates suggest that approximately one in every six people of reproductive age globally experience infertility in their lifetime.
