Hashemi Nejad Hospital was established in 1958 by the late Hajj Mohammad Mehdi Ebrahimi Dari as a private charity, this center was later renamed Shahid Hashemi Nejad in September 1985. Since then, it has been the national hub for kidney disease treatment under the University of Medical Sciences in Iran.
