Biography

Dr.(Col) Rajeev Sood has more than 30 years of super specialization in Urology, Renal Transplants and over 23 years of experience of serving in the Armed Forces. He did his MBBS and MS from the Armed Forces Medical College Pune and M. Ch. from AIIMS, New Delhi. He has done more than 2500 renal transplant procedures.

Dr. Rajeev Sood is a pioneer in green light laser prostate surgery which he started in India in 2003. He is a Gold medalist in MBBS, MS, and M. Ch., and as a surgeon, he has been awarded Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India for performance beyond the call of duty.

At Sanar International Hospitals he is heading the Urology, Andrology, Robotics, and Renal Transplant program. He is active in the academic field and has been faculty at numerous Indian and International conferences and operative workshops, with numerous publications to his credit.
