Prof. Dr. Hakan Korkmaz completed his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1988 and specialized there in 1989. He also successfully passed the ECFMG exams in the United States in 1989.
Prof. Dr. Hakan Korkmaz completed a two-year Clinical Fellowship in the Department of Ear, Nose, and Throat at Wayne State University in Michigan, USA, in 1998. During this time, he participated in approximately 400 head and neck surgeries and trained residents.
Prof. Dr. Hakan Korkmaz specializes in laryngeal cancers, sound issues, goiter, pediatric ENT diseases, head and neck cancer, tonsil and adenoid conditions, snoring and sleep apnea, facial paralysis, nasal deformities, salivary gland cancer, nasal septum deviation, and nasal polyps.
