Biography

Dr. Rajesh Upadhyay is a Director & Head, Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi and former Chairman & HOD, Department of Gastroenterology/Hepatology, Jaipur Golden Hospital, New Delhi, for more than 15 years.

He is presently the Director of Indian Confederation for Health Care Accreditation (ICHA), a non-profit organization working for patient safety and quality in healthcare services and has been the President of Association of Physicians of India

A graduate of Patna Medical College, he went on to obtain higher degrees and training in the UK where he did his MRCP degree and worked in internationally renowned institutions such as Kings College Hospita

He has more than 65 academic/scientific papers to his credit including editorials and abstracts, in national / international journals. He has also written many chapters on gastroenterology/hepatology for many books.

Dr. Upadhyay has undertaken the leadership role in organizing, participating and delivering more than 300 lectures at prestigious regional, national and international conferences.
