Dr. Bhatia is the only Indian in “Club Narakas”- The international club of Brachial Plexus surgeons, and he is also the Organizing Secretary of the 2nd Biennial Meeting of the Brachial Plexus Surgery Group of India, Wockhardt Hospital, Mumbai.
He did his MBBS from LTM Medical College, Sion, Mumbai in 1985, and later completed his post-graduate qualification in Orthopaedics from the same college in 1990.
He mastered in various fields such as Joint Replacement- primary and revision, Arthroscopy & Sports Injuries, Trauma, Pediatric Orthopedics, Musculoskeletal imaging aided minimally invasive procedures, etc.
He is a professional member of reputed organizations such as the Maharashtra Medical Council, Indian Orthopaedic Association, Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand.
He has operated on more than 950 cases of Post - Traumatic and Obstetrical Brachial Plexus Palsies from all parts of India .
