• The hospital was named "Piyamaharajkarun" in honor of King Rama V.
• Officially opened on July 6, 2010, Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital is a division of Mahidol University, focusing on providing specialized medical services and consultations for specific diseases, following international standards such as JCI.
